Hi y'all! I'm Heather. I'm new here, but I've viewed this forum quite often for information. I have 2 Black Australorp hens, 2 Bantam mix hens and 1 rooster, 2 Gold Sexlink hens, 6 New Hampshire Red pullets, 3 Silkie chicks, 2 Light Brahma chicks, 2 Golden Buff chicks, 2 Pekin ducklings, 2 Rouen ducklings, and 2 Crested ducklings along with a ton of other animals. I look forward to learning a lot more from all of you. Thanks for having me!

I've raised them for years, adn they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of ours), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. Yes, they definitely all keep me on my toes! I have a lot of health issues so it's hard sometimes, but they also give me something to keep fighting for.
