I lightened the turner board in my HUGE home built bator so I would have good air flow.

Now 24 hrs into the very first set it has bowed under the weight of the eggs to the point that I cant turn the eggs w/o opening the bator.

I need a way to strengthen this thing w/o closing all the air space.

Maybe I can find some 1/4 angle iron & screw it along the edge?

what should I do?

Here is what it looked like after I cut the center out.

5 dozen - the angle iron was the smallest one they had at ACE. I grabbed a hand full of the self tapping screws & just punched though the wood frame into the angle.

Solid as a rock now!
