Hello All,
I bought a house with 2 acres last August here in Alabama. Since the economy is, well... scary, I decided to try to make our little slice of Heaven as self sufficient as possible. I just had about 1/4 acre tilled for the veggie garden. There are 19 fruit trees in the back. I just got 6 chicks - about 3 weeks old. Ducks coming in a few weeks, and rabbits by the end of the summer.
My husband and I started a forum in 1997. Still going strong after 13 years.
