Hi all,
Just bought my first 12 baby chicks, thinking that I'd probably lose some before time to put them outside. Boy, they all still look really healthy after the first week
Glad I found this site as I'm sure I'll need the help I can get from all you experts.
I've wanted chickens for years and finally talked the hubby into building me a coop. I have a 10 year old daughter who's also very excited about our new chickens. My only apprehension is that when they get bigger she may be afraid of them. As long as we socialize them, I hope they continue to be as mild mannered toward us as they are now. I'm open to any suggestions as to how to keep her comfortable around them as they continue to grow.
