new incubator humidity won't stabilize

hi i am new here just got a incubator on amazon and the humidity won't stabilize its way to hi or way to low i woke up this morning and it was at 27% put a little bit of water in it and it went up to 87 and now it is at 71% i have duck eggs to go in it but have not put them in yet the temp is at 37.5C and does not move this is the link to the incubator

You're looking for an average and will have some fluctuations. Did you calibrate the hygrometer? It can be off. You'll want a wide and shallow pool of water rather than deep and narrow which means adding water more frequently in my experience.

where do u get a hygrometer to check the built in one and how do u calibrate it on google it said 55% humidity i have never seen it around that its way to high or way to low what is better
