do I need to lay them down pointy side or pointy side down or does it matter since i am not using a turner

When you lay them on their side, they will naturally tilt the pointy side down and the round side up. That's the way an egg is designed. That tiny little tilt is enough.

Ok Thank you I am going to let it run for the night a set some in the morning the kids and I decided to chicken eggs first wish me luck ha ha I think I will be using these site a lot during incubation I have read the instructions several times and very glad I saw this thread before I started thank's again for the info
