So I got tired of the temp swings from my little giant and built a wooden forced air incubator. I put a ranco line voltage control on it with remote bulb. Set at 100 it will over shoot to 101 for a short time. The air temp can fluctuate between 99 and 101. So it should be quite a step up from the little giant.

I can't make up my mind on a hygrometer. I thought about getting one of the little digital jobs from incubator warehouse but I'm also thinking of getting a masons hygrometer and just doing the calculations for more accuracy.

What would you guys recommend?

I get the 8 to $10 digital hygrometer at Walmart. it works great. I have a bunch of them .they give me temperature they give me humidity. I really like them a lot.

Sounds like a good upgrade! I'd stick to digital.

Those cheap little giant incubators are disgusting. You can work so hard keeping everything right and then the last minute it'll get to hot or cold and ruin the whole batch. Our GQF cabinet has paid for its self in the first year.

Right now I'm using my fluke and k type thermocouple and doing dry bulb and wet bulb. It sucks.
Definitely ordering the digital one from incubator warehouse.
