New incubator smell.

My new incubator ,which came with a liner, has a new plastic smell that won't go away ,I'm using it as a hatcher and I was wondering could that harm the chicks? the incubator has been plugged in for a day. Thanks.

It should be fine. The new smell takes a while to burn off if it has a regular heating element.
