hi all. mike here. relatively new to the chicken scene (going on about 14 months now). new registered user to the site, but I have been here many times when doing google searches for certain questions concerning my little cluckers.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
new to chickens, but have had them now for just over a year.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
currently 4

(3) What breeds do you have?
is it bad that I have no clue? lol

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
a google search revealed several threads in the forum that applied directly to my questions.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
most of my hobbies revolve around my two daughters and their interests. I also enjoy PC gaming.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
i'm in IT and have become increasingly aware of issues with "our" food supply in this country. trying to make changes that will include not only chickens/eggs, but also a garden and possibly get into aquaponics.
