Hey, all.
I have a friend who works in animal control and found a really sad home situation for some hens. There were about 15 girls stuffed into a dog crate with a beach umbrella over it. Really awful stuff
He’s helping them recuperate now, they’re doing way better already. Unfortunately they may end up getting put down if he can’t find a home for them.
Approximately 15 hens, unknown age, breeds I saw were barred rocks, Wyandottes and some unknown yellow/gold birds.
He said they can break the flock up if needed.
I’m wondering if anyone knows anywhere that might be interested in the NJ/NY/PA area
