I'm new to this, I need help. I have 2 ducks mixed breed, male and female. Every morning I seen that the female went missing. In the early afternoon she was back. I never seen where she went. I read that they usually lay in March so I was prepared. I have a duck run. I guess they lay in Feb. It's still cold, in the 40's. I looked everywhere for 3 days, finally found 14 eggs. All 14 eggs were cold and not covered. So then I put her and the drake and all 14 eggs (making sure to mark them) in the run in straw . So I guess my question is are they going to hatch or what I need help.

At the temps you are having I'd toss these and let her start building her nest when temps get warmer. You could try incubating these if you haven't had any freezing temps some may hatch. If it was me though I'd toss these. Unless she has been sitting on them 24/7 they haven't started to become ducklings. You could also candle if you are worried they may have started to grow.

If it was me though I'd toss these. Unless she has been sitting on them 24/7 they haven't started to become ducklings. You could also candle if you are worried they may have started to grow.
