(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! I pulled a "charlotte's web" on a silkie with wry neck who would be culled and grabbed her a companion which is an Black breasted red old english bantam

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Just the two, looking to get more after I've got the setup for the babies!

I'm here to learn, grow, and make the best life for my chicks! The silkie is named Silvia and the OEBBR is named Pamina. They're around 5-6 weeks at this point and I'm already planning how to make a nice run for them. I'm gonna get a nestera coop next paycheck too!

So after much searching and reading, I'm learning even IF I want to keep just a small amount of bantams, the nestera large isn't gonna cut it. Does anyone have any tips on how somebody with no tools aside from a decent drill can make a nice cleanable plastic coop? The idea of red mites squicks me out SO HARD so I want to avoid wood so the little nasty creatures can't have a foothold and I can fully spray down the whole thing. Haaaalp!!!!
