New member and new chicken owner

Hello! We are now owners of 6 hens as of Saturday...found this website Monday as a result of a Google search and have had fun browsing ever since.
We are new to ownership. We built our coop after looking at several offered for sale at local stores...or should I say "building" lol. We have it finished enough that the hens are in it, but we still need to finish it up...
Anyhow, I just thought it was time to officially say "Hi" to everyone...I have learned quite a bit already (and appreciate all the info!) and am looking forward to learning even more!
