New member and new chicken person

I have wanted backyard chickens ever since I was a kid growing up in the middle of Houston. I finally have a house with a big enough backyard in a town that allows chickens inside city limits so on April 11 I bought my first chicks!

I think I have 2 Americaunas, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 black maran, 1 black Australorp, and 1 Rhode Island Red. I have read many threads on this site and appreciate how supportive and knowledgeable you all are!

I HOPE all my girls are girls. I told myself I wasn’t going to get too attached just in case one ends up being a rooster, because city ordinances do not allow roosters inside city limits here. But that lasted about 2 minutes.
