New Member and New to Chickens

Hello,
My name is Ginger and I am very new to chickens...a city girl, now a new country gal...I have horses, dogs, cats and now...3 beautiful red sex link hens...got them as 19 week old pullets and they just started laying for us a little over a week. Med/small brown eggs but I understand that is normal for new hens laying...they are doing the squat down dance for me...LOL Very sweet and can easily pick up and pet...love getting the eggs...now 3 a day consistant...very yummy! Love this site and learning a bunch! Thanks for all the great information you put out there!
