Hello all!
You guys have been a great help as we have been raising our girls. Sadly we lost a year old Auracana. Only signs of any problem was she was a bit sluggish although still wandered with the flock and occasionally shook her head although not violently. Nothing else out of the ordinary. Just found her in the garden. I wish I knew what happened. We feed them organic layer pellets, water with ACV, and they are free range in our yard or else in their caged enclosure. It really hurts and I am wondering if I should have picked up on something. She was just wondering around and munching grass sprouts this morning. Thanks for the listening hear!

birds can be very good at hiding their illness till the end.,so don't blame yourself. Head shaking could have indicated something (maybe mites) or not. It's really nothing by itself.
