Just wanted to start off as saying I love this site! This may be my first post, but I have constantly referenced these forums for about a year in my research of chicken ownership. I can say without a doubt, this forum helped me make the decision to become a chicken owner! It gave me the confidence I needed and the answers I was looking for before making the commitment!
I am the owner of 2 Silver Laced Cochins, 2 Americaunas, 5 Barred Rocks and 5 Rhode Island Reds!
The cochins were given to me about a month ago by a friend that had them, but they were the smallest in his flock and were constantly being bullied by the rest. The other 12 I purchased from Ideal Poultry and they hatched/shipped July 24th.
