Hi! I’m on a new adventure, Chicken Mom! It’s fun and rewarding so far. 4 hens 2 months old. I have extreme heat here in east Texas. 2 of the girls have red spots and dirty heads. What could this be? I need some advice. I’ve googled until I can’t. Thanks so much!

They look OK to me, the red you're seeing is probably the combs growing. Definitely post more photos here if they have any sores or bumps.

Thank you. I don’t know what’s normal or not. Sounds silly but true.
