I live in East Brighton and have nine chickens of various breeds. One I found in a street near work. That is a Polish Black. I have a large Sussex Light which came from friends of friends children. I have another chicken whose breed I do not know that came from friends in Healesville who thought they had too many chickens and gave this one to me. The other chickens are rescue chooks from past Geelong where a friend has a large number of chickens they obtain from various sources. They have a large area to roam in during the day and are locked in a coop at night as we have local foxes that like to pop in in case we have left the girls out after dark.
