Hello everyone in the chicken community!

Glad to have joined! Thinking about raising some backyard chickens and hope to get some info. My wife and I (especially my wife) loves eggs and animals and having our own egg supply is something we would like to do. We both eat chicken but don't plan on raising hens for meat - just for eggs.

Once again very happy to be on board and looking forward to contributing to the backyard chicken community when the time comes to get our chickens!

You will love having chickens. I have a back yard flock. Love having them for the eggs. I have some great layers right now, and get too many for just my Hubby and Myself. So, I sell the rest that we don't use in a week. Not hard to do..have a regular customer, and others want to be. The money goes into the chicken envelope for feed. Works out great.
