Hi. I'm a new member, although I've been reading the threads on here for quite a while.
I don't have any chickens, but I do have a small backyard flock of 9 ducks, 1 white crested, 3 Welsh harlequin, 5 assorted runners, all girls, and 2 geese, 1 white Chinese, male, and 1 Embden that I can't tell what the gender is. I started raising 3 ducks almost 2 years ago, and have grown my flock since. My husband said no more though, but we'll see,
I'm 56 years old and I work part time as a cook in a local small town bar and grill. We live in central Iowa, where the summers are super hot and the winters are terribly cold.
I'm excited to be a member here and am looking forward to learning from everyone.
