Hi, Welcome to BYC. I am in Chicago as well in the Edgewater area. What part of Chicago are you in? Those definitely are pullets, however they dont seem like RIR to me , they look more like New Hampshire Reds. Where did you buy them from? Did they claim they are RIR?

Hey Everyone, Just getting into the learning phase of owning chickens. Going to spend the winter learning and get some chicks in the spring. We are from Chicago and looking forward to getting started, and so are they!
