hello all!
I'm super excited to be getting some chickens in the next month or so. We're thinking just 3. We live in town and have two young children ages 3 and 6. I took the kids to the co-op and we picked up a water and food container for chicks. The co-op does sell chickens but more mainstream standard birds. We were hoping to find some slightly smaller breeds. Bantham (sp?) and maybe silkies, but not sure where to get them around here. We are located about an hour east of toronto. If anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated. thanks.
