Hello egg lovers. I am new to the site and look forward to getting to know some of you chicken gurus.
I had a flock of 12, we lost one to an infected crop and one other to I think Markels. I have one chicken now who is unstable on her feet and she has been falling over, I hope I caught it soon enough before it spreads to my other chickens.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, and welcome to BYC. If one member of the flock was diagnosed with Mareks, it is likely that the remainder of the flocks is positive for the disease.
So there is no point to separating her from the flock? She has access to food and water without being able to jump. I just worry that the other hens will peck her to death. We axed the last one that showed these signs but then I read that they can overcome and still lay so I am not sure the best course of action yet. I'm going to watch her for now.

How old is your flock? And proper nutrition. Have grit and oyster shell available at laying stage.

Ah yes, Mareks, lol. My flock is only 6 months old. We lost our last flock to predation and such. All the ladies are laying and seem healthy. I did not have this issue with the last flock that I had for three years. Truthfully i do not know much about how to keep chickens.
