Hello everyone!
My name is Mary and I live in a small town call Grandview; its about 40mins south of Ft Worth off of 35W. I have already started on building my coop and I am going to pick up my new Chickie's this weekend. I will be getting either 2 or 4(if i can sweet talk my husband into letting me get 4 lol) Orpingtons. I can't wait to get started with the chickens. This will be my first time owning them so if anyone has any input about any and everything I am all ears. I have done some research on this website so I pretty much know the basics plus my Aunt is a self sufficient farmer(she very rarely goes into town to buy things) so if i have a total melt down on something i can call her at any time lol. Anyways I will get pictures on here as soon as possible of the chicks and the coop/run. We are also trying our hands at gardening so wish me luck! I love plants and flowers but the don't love me.
