I've been following posts for about a year and joined several months ago and just now getting active. This group sounds like a great bunch of people. I'm recently retired from teaching and have had a few hens around off and on over the years. Now that I have the time I'm excited about getting some chickens going again. The critters just wiped out my little group of Welsummers so I have started over with some Cuckoo Maran chicks, hope my luck changes

My wife and I have been married for almost 40 years, we have 2 sons (grown), 3 grandkids, 3 cats, and 2 Labs. I'm an avid gardener, like to hunt and fish and tie flies.
