Hey everyone. My husband and I have used this site quite a few times now and I finally noticed it also had forums and wasted no time signing up.
We got our first birds on March 30, 2011. We got nine Buff Orpingtons, three Araucanas and 2 Pekins.
On April 20, 2011 we got two Rouens.
And I'm sure that'll be updated more often than originally planned. You see, we planned on sticking with what we had and were really mainly interested in eggs. But then we started looking at other breeds online and now were both excited for spring so we can add on. Not to mention, we no longer consider them egg chickens (and ducks) but rather, pets.
We sell our chicken and duck eggs so if you live in (or know anyone who does) Bay City or Pinconning, let me know!
We also have two cats, one Alaskan Malamute (biggest 140 pound baby you'll ever meet) and three fish.
