Hi,
I live in the suburbs of NYC and am about to fulfill a long-held dream of raising chickens. I'm just now getting the chicken area ready and need to decide when to get the chicks. I'm excited to join BackYard Chickens - I've already found it very very useful! I've also got 3 kids, a dog, 2 cats and assorted goldfish.
