hi all! Jaime here from a small town on the Oregon Coast. Very new to the #farmlife. I’m a vegetarian farmer!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We have had a small number of chickens in the past. So not brand new to having chickens, but new to larger numbers
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 1 rooster, and 41 hens (21 of these are still chicks)
(3) What breeds do you have? Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds, Easter Eggers, Leghorns, Rhodebar, Golden Starfish, Silver Mermaid and Olandsk Dwarves (I think that’s it!)
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Searching the internet for info about breeding
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Rabbits and Ducks
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I have a small farm in Oregon when we raise rabbits, ducks and chickens. We do have goats, dogs, cats and a horse! We are vegetarian farmers and intend on raising happy healthy animals that go to likeminded families.
