Hi I’m Reagan new the BYC forums 😊
I currently have 47 birds and counting (not all chickens)
I keep Bantam Cochins, some polish, Serama, Kikiriki and Red Jungle Fowl but I also have Red and Peach Golden Pheasants, Tragopan Temnicks, Mandarin Ducks, Zebra Finches, Society Finches, African Grey Parrot and Amazon parrot.

I’ve had chickens almost my entire life and still enjoy them I also have recently gotten more into game birds and other exotic fowl. I spend most of my free time to coming up with idea on expanding and improving my birds environments or just sitting outside with them, I also keep some reptiles and I have a large houseplant collection.

I work for an aquarium store in Abilene Texas which has been an awesome outlet for my other interests.

Found BYC on Facebook from a friend that’s a current member. Can’t wait to learn from yall.

Glad to meet you, Reagan, and welcome to BYC. What a beautiful collection of birds you must have. I liked the lovely wood ducks you included in your introduction. I suspect you will have lots to share from your own wide and long experience! Best wishes from New England where we are just starting spring.

BYC Lists of Chicken Ailments and Cures

To look for articles on your own:

A. Use the SEARCH button, but use the Advanced Search choice, and select ARTICLES at the top of the box. Just enter your keyword(s) and scroll through your results!

B. I find it helpful to notice the rating and reviews. All articles are by BYC members, and all the reviews/ratings are as well. The ratings help a newbie like me sort the most useful and reliable articles.

C. You can bookmark the articles or posts you think you want to refer to again using that bookmark icon at the top of articles or posts. You can find them again by clicking on your own avatar and looking at the list of bookmarks you have built up!
