Hello All,
I am so excited to read and learin all I can about chickens and the raising of them. I already have my heart set on raising endangered species that tolerate colder climates. I am do my research and getting ready to place my order for chicks in December of this year or January of 2014. I have a husband, 4 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. The more I read about chickens the more I want them. I am so dissappointed that we weren't able to start this spring.
Well this gives me lots of time to read all I can and get aquainted with the breeds that I am ordering.
