Hello, I have been raising chickens for many years & love the fresh eggs that they produce. I have had many breeds of chickens both standards & bantams. Over all my favorite breed is still the Sultan. They are good layers with a very friendly personality.

Glad you could join the flock!! Fresh eggs are a great bonus to keeping chickens!! I've not had sultans before but they sound great I love friendly chickens I like to make lap chickens out of them as I have with my polish.

Welcome to BYC. I'm glad you decided to join our flock. I've had dozens of breeds over the past 50 years, including some of the crested breeds such as Polish and Houdans, but never Sultans. They certainly sound like a nice breed. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Sultans.
