Hello everyone!!
I have been a stalker on this website for quite some time, so I have decided to finally make an account! I got my first batch of baby chicks back in 2013 and have been growing my flock ever since with the help of information from BYC. Currently, I have around 30 free range chickens (quite the bunch
). I have a mixture of regualr and bantam chickens, but the breeds range anywhere from ameraucanas to salmon faverolles to leghorns. I enjoy raising backyard chickens because it has given me some independence from super market shelves and makes me proud of myself to get up every morning and take care of the birds.
My other hobbies include baking and quilting. I live in Arkansas with my family and six rescue dogs!
I am looking forward to getting to know you and becoming a better parent to my backyard chickens!
