New Member here. I've had chickens for years and finally settled on Orpingtons. I have Buff, Jubilee, Silver laced and mottled Orpingtons with 5 Easter eggers. I want to get some Silkies someday because they are so adorable, but with 52 chickens, I'm waiting to get those maybe next year. I'm glad to find this forum and learn more and connect with other chicken people. :)

Welcome. I am fairly new here too. My hubby retired last year and we bought a home in the country with just enough land to fulfill his dream of homesteading. Raising chickens was at the top of the list. They really are fun.
