New member in CA

I live in northern California. My family and I currently have a small flock of young chickens -Black and Buff Minorcas, Rhode Island Red, Australorp and a Silkie roo.

Yes, we've lived with chickens for a little over 10 years. Sadly they don't lay or live forever

These are our newest they're all 1 year and under. We're also in the process of building a second coop and large run off that so we can have a flock of just Silkies in one spot and our already existing coop can have the mixed flock that can "free range" (we live on 2 acres, fenced with 6' fencing already). I'm very excited I cant wait until its built
