Hi everyone! I am so glad I found this site...it truly looks like a wonderful place to learn and enjoy with super friendly people!
I am here because I started researching chickens for my children to show in 4-H now that they are old enough. I have fallen in love with Brahma Bantams!
We live on a small farm in Central Florida with two APHA mares (for riding and a little team penning), 3 mini horses (pets), 2 dogs, 1 cat and about 50 bunnies! Yes, we raise and show Holland Lop bunnies, which all bring me so much joy. Of course, my children were not interested in showing bunnies in 4-H. After all, that would be TOO EASY and how boring for two kids who have been showing bunnies for some time now. Sooooo...here I am researching chickens....little does my husband know.
I look forward to learning all I can absorb from each of you!
