We are picking up 12 chicks this week.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We are getting a rainbow mix from Spring Crrek Heritage Farms in Bellingham, Washington. They will give the breeds at pickup.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Not sure yet but I suspect it will be the joy they will boring to our family.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, refinishing furniture, thrifting, crafting and cooking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Elementary teacher for the last 18 years. Archaeologist for preceding 22 years.
