new member in michigan

Hello all! Newbie here in Michigan. We purchased some Bantams and Pekin ducks last spring, lol and a week later 8 more (4 buff orpingtons and 4 easter eggers). We currently have 2 coops with attached runs and I am planning a third(shhhh hubby doesn't know yet) We made a homemade incubator last week and I put 9 eggs in it. Out of 9 eggs I can see development in 7, the last 2 I am just not sure yet. I am hoping the hatch will take place when the kids are home on their mid winter break. The eggs look great when we candled them last night. It was so neat to see, cant wait for the chicks!
