New member in Nashville, TN

Hi All

decided to join the forum since my husband decided we should get some chickens. I am a bit concerned because he read "Raising Chickens for Dummies" and seems to have skipped a few chapters.

Anyways we got 6 chicks about a month ago and I am so happy that we still have six chicks. We have a Golden laced Wyandotte, Cockoo Maran, Wellsummer, Delaware, Buff Brahbamas, and a Red sex-linked DelawareXNew Hampshire. They joined our family that includes two semi-feral cats, two friendly cats, a Jack Russell mutt named Lucy, and our two kids (ages 3 and 5).

I look forward to learning from this community.
