I am a new member in the Hocking Hills of Southeastern Ohio. I have been raising chickens for eggs for three years, and have a variety of them. Barred Plymouth Rock,Buff Orpington, Americanas, Black Australorps, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Speckled Sussex, Salmon Faverolles and three bantam partridge cochins. They all free range on our property which we also have 4 mallards, miniature donkeys and 4 horses on. I love all of my chickens and consider them pets. I have three grandchildren, a set of twins, girl and boy, that will be 5 in a couple of weeks, and a 2-1/2 year old granddaughter also. They all love seeing the animals when they visit. I have a full time job that I travel to in Columbus daily. My husband is retired and cares for the farm. I enjoy cooking and gardening. We also have three dogs that love the country life.
