howdy folks
jessejames here i am newbie chicken farmer right now i have 11 RIR 2 white leghorns and 4 RIR crossed with a polish rooster they all are about 3 month old and are living free range on my fifty acre farm
i have just bought this farm and am renting out 45 acres of tilled and tiled feild starting next year i will be having a market garden on about half an acre filling the other half with garlic
i am thinking that i would just pant vetch on the other acre i am going to use right away (i will start farming the other land as time knowledge and equipment allows) but am now thinking of the possibility of growing some of my feed any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated
i have been finding lots of good info on this site since i started a few months ago thanks alot i am sure i will have lots more questions to come
