Hi everyone.
We have had Chickens for about 1 year we started with 8 and lost 3 over the months. Still not sure why but we keep trying. We now have 4 we hatched they are Dark Brahmas, about 8 weeks old and then we got 3 Turkeys, about 4 weeks old and we picked up more chicks at the local pet/feed store 5 Dark Brahmas and 2 Light Brahmas.
We are a family of 3 at the moment (3 adult children have moved out) So our youngest is trying her hand at farming. we are raising chickens for eggs, fruit trees and veggies on 2 acres. this site has been a huge source for me in trying to keep our small flock healthy and happy so thank you for doing this.
