I've had chickens on and off most my life but these will be my first CHICKENS independently. I've independently owned and bred quails for about 2 years tho. I've even helped breed emus and peacocks. I should be soon obtaining some eggs from a friend. They're barnyard mutts from a group of cemani roo and rir, ameracauna, and polish hens. So they should be interesting. I do intend to also get some brahma and black jersey giants tho but I'll be ordering online, or maybe from one of you. Idk.I'm located near lubbock texas. Just moved here. I'm from oregon/washington and most recently georgia. I'd love to meet other keepers in the area, especially ones who might be willing to process any obnoxious roos I might get haha. But also just keepers all over. Bonus points if you keep birds and reptiles! I'd eventually like to get back into quails but my hopes aren't high.
I am from Texas, in Amarillo if you're familiar with it. I do not have reptiles but wish I had geckos lol
