Greetings, Backyard Chickens members,
Our first flock of baby chickens arrived early May of last year. We have 5 chickens, 4 hens, and 1 rooster. My daughter, the "chicken handler", selected a variety of breeds for us including Wyandottes, Welsummer, and Barred Rocks. They are a beautiful and healthy flock and loves vegetables from our organic garden, but live worms are their favorite. We have been growing our own foods so fresh eggs from our own chickens make sense.
I am looking forward to interacting with the members of the group.
