Hello to all...I am new to the site and chickens...I have just completed my brooder awaiting delivery of my chicks the week of Feb 21st...I am starting my plans for a coop, the hardest part is not going overboard....Everytime I start drawing I need more and more paper...This site has been very helpful during this process and I am excited to be part of it...I look forward to sharing my adventures and reading yours...

1 wife (I think she would dissaprove of more)
I live in the Mountains of Western NC

Come over to the "NC" thread...you'll find LOTS of neighbors there. Hope you and your family can come to the show in Morganton this weekend (Morganton Show thread also), Matt has set up a BYC table so we can all meet.

Little advice on the chicken house & pen---make it TWICE as big as you think you'll need....cause you always end up with more birds than you planned on
