In the Brooder
I am fairly new to the chicken world, I got day old Rhode island red April 2016. 15 hens and a rooster and they have been doing great. I have an acreage and the are free ranged. The rooster is a little ruff on some of them, it is visible by the lack of feather in front of the tail and a few missing behind the comb.

I am retired now, my wife is disable, I like cooking, gardening, canning, wood working and welding. I also make my wine and in the last year started making my beer.
I have 3 rescue dogs, Jasper, Charley are mostly black Labrador retriever and a female golden name Lexi (she like to be the boss).
