Yes new - our chickens are currently 5 months old.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 11 hens and 1 rooster

(3) What breeds do you have? RIR, Buff Orpingtons and Black Australorps

hiking, gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have two kids, 2 dogs, and a guinea pig in addition to our chickens

Thanks everyone! I know this forum will be a wealth of knowledge. As a new chicken mom I'm really enjoying my flock - I've never even been around chickens before so it's fun to learn about these birds.
