Hi I'm Jeff and we just got some chicks. The kids love them and we're learning more everyday. We're going to start building a small out door coop and a fenced in area for the chicks once they start getting bigger.

Hello, Jeff, and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Don't wait for them to get bigger. They grow very fast. You need to start now. They need 4 sq ft per bird in the coop and 15 sq ft per bird in the run.
The coop needs LOTS of ventilation.
