New member intro

Hi. I am obviously new to raising backyard chickens. I have 6, and I just started with them 11 weeks ago. Three are 11 weeks; three are 9 weeks. I have a Rhode Island Red, Buff Orpington, Black Austrolope, Dominique, White Plymouth Rock, and a Cream legbar. I have read so many books and posts, but I feel this group will actually help me more with specific questions I have.

A little bit about me. I teach middle school, am married, have 3 wonderful kids who also adore their new chickens, 3 dogs, and 2 cats.
