(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes. 2 months ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 13... we were only supposed to get 4... and that was a stretch. Our first was actually a stray That somehow jumped over our fence in downtown Fresno.., crazy but true. So far the neighbors don’t mind it... I’m hoping to pay off their silence about us having them with free eggs this fall!
(3) What breeds do you have?leghorn, silver laced Wyandotte’s, ameruacanas, Buff Orpingtons, Faverolles, light Brahma, cochin
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Their sweet sounds, their snuggles, their awkward new steps and speedy little run after they catch their balance,
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, outdoor activities, running, boxing, piano, singing, baking, Spending time w family and friends.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
2 little boys (6 and 9 years), hubby of 12 years, 2 dogs ( 11 yo Brownie Bear and 1 year old Abbie Sweet), and a bearded dragon. Nurse practitioner.
